Washington, D.C. — The National Police Association (NPA) has endorsed Congressman Cory Mills’ (FL-07) Halting Inappropriate Limits Targeting Officers Now (HILTON) Act, legislation that would prohibit federal agencies from contracting with businesses that refuse service to federal law enforcement officers based on their official duties.
WASHINGTON, D.C.-- Congressman Cory Mills (FL-07) today introduced the Halting Inappropriate Limits Targeting Officers Now Act (HILTON Act), legislation that prohibits federal agencies from entering into contracts with entities that discriminate against federal law enforcement officers based on their official duties.
Washington, D.C. — Congressman Cory Mills (FL-07) introduced legislation to establish a United States Capitol Police Reserve Fund, a commonsense “just-in-case” safeguard designed to ensure Capitol Police officers and staff continue to receive pay and critical resources during a potential lapse in government appropriations if the government were to shut down in 2026.
