Washington, D.C. — Congressman Cory Mills introduced legislation to fire the Director of the Congressional Budget Office (CBO), and redesignate the office as the “China Budget Office,” highlighting the lack of oversight and accountability that the government office has faced while wielding the power to block the Trump Administration and Congress’s Constitutional authority.
The House of Representatives advanced key Fiscal Year 2026 appropriations bills, including Commerce, Justice, Science; Energy and Water Development; and Interior and Environment, marking a major step toward restoring fiscal discipline and putting an end to years of Biden-era wasteful policies. The bill now heads to the Senate.
