January 3, 2025

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Cory Mills (FL-07) released the following statement after being sworn in to represent Florida’s 7th Congressional District in a second term for the 119th Congress.

“I am deeply honored by your trust and the continued opportunity to serve as your representative in the 119th Congress. I look forward to securing even more resources and delivering greater results for Florida’s 7th Congressional District. I will not forget the conversations I had with countless Floridians about our nation’s needs and how we can improve the quality of life of all Americans. I am committed to strengthening our nation’s economy, improving veterans care, restoring American energy dominance, securing our borders, and safeguarding our nation.  Just as I once swore an oath to serve in the U.S. Army, I carry forward that solemn commitment. This oath, like the one I took over 20 years ago, is a promise to uphold the Constitution and to serve and protect our country,” said Congressman Cory Mills (FL-07).

“I, Cory Mills, do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the “Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.”
