WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Rep. Cory Mills (FL-07) introduced the Against Federal Funds for Allowing Inappropriate Relationships Act (AFFAIR). This legislation prohibits federal funds from being awarded to an office of any state or local chief prosecutor should there be an individual who has been convicted in engaging in corruption or any other unlawful activity.

In a letter to Blinken, Rep. Cory Mills (R-FL) described the evacuation as “disastrous,” along with the policy of the United States toward Sudan that Godfrey helped facilitate. As such, Mills took issue with giving the Ryan C. Crocker Award for Outstanding Leadership in Expeditionary Diplomacy to Godfrey, which included a $10,000 cash prize.
